Description
Vintage
2020 is characterized by its precocity. The 2019 autumn rainfall was significant and allowed the soil to be regenerated with water. Winter and srping were the warmest since 120 years. On June 30, the bunches were closed on the majority of plots. The very dry month of July followed by a month of very little rain in August made it possible to obtain grapes of good maturity with overall wines with less alcohol than in 2019.
Blending
100% of black Grenache, planted in 1957.
Soils
Thin colluvium on blue marls from the Pliocene.
The Grenache was put in vats on september 29 in order to reach the sufficient degree while retaining a certain acidity guaranteeing its pleasant freshness.
Harvest

Winemaking process
The grapes are mechanically sorted by a destemmer. They are then crushed and then cinveyed in a small stainless stell tank of 30hl. The temperature is regulated around 22°C during the alcoholic fermentation. Mutated on grains at 1037 density, the maceration took place until October 26 with gentle pumping over each day.
Aging
The wines were kept in a reducing medium to preserve all the fruit. Bottled in 50cl on March 25, they spent 3 months in bottle before they could be tasted.
Tasting
A real explosion of red fruits, crushed stawberries and blackberry jam, this purplish red wine combines feshness and complexity. Depth and lentgh in the mouth prolong the pleasure of this very old Grenache, the legacyof a long family tradition. Serve between 7 and 9°C.
